Freeze Strengths: ♦ Extraordinarily long lasting power source- powered by a collection of unique cold-fusions cells. (self designed+integrated) ♦ Emits a extremely cold temperature pulse - most machinery can't function properly if it comes within a close proximity ♦ Superior intelligence
Weakness: ♦ Operating system heavily relies on extremely cold conditions, Freeze can barley function once internal temperature starts approaching zero degrees. (especially the head unit, requires an enclosed coolant filled dome at all times to ensure constant cold)
Penguin: Strengths: ♦ Built from a extraordinarily complex arrangement of custom gears and hydraulics- Penguin runs on unknown types of software and hardware. ♦ Invulnerable to any kind of eletrical interference / system hacking ect. ♦ Has a sidekick/butler/kamikaze penguin bot named Sardine
Weakness: ♦ Repairs are extremely difficult to make- every piece needs to be custom built from rare alloys ♦ He actually needs the umbrella, or he'll rust in the rain

Next + Final Set: Joker & Batman EDIT: K, ppl seem distraught that the next set is the final, but if there is this much interest in the series, I will do my best to add more characters after Bats and Joker- I just need to finish off some other projects before I continue past these 6 Gotham Gears- cool beans?
I was thinking for a two-face bot, perhaps some ultra-modern and sleek model would get half wrecked somehow, and would try to rebuild itself from junkyard parts, but accidentally install another AI within himself. They'd always be fighting for control, with one being normal, and one being insane from centuries of stasis. Aesthetically he'd be kinda like if you cut WALL-E and EVE in half and shoved the halves together, only humanoid and more combat oriented. Two-face is my favorite villain, so i was trying to find a way to make that work a little too hard, ha. But i like that.
I wonder how much backstory have you thought about for this world? Because you mention the Joker-bot wearing clothes that could have belonged to the real joker. This means that Gotham Gears takes place in a timeline where some sort of more normal Batman existed, perhaps a long time ago. It's intriguing, is all.
Gotta say I love how you made penguin more steampunk and realistically adressed the advantages and disadvantages of custom parts I love this series because the designs all show a lot of intelligence regarding how they'd function, its not just piles of robot parts thrown together cos they look cool
Great job. But may I suggest one more addition to the Freeze Gear? Mr. Freeze, aside from his intelligence and cold abilities is also one of batman's most physically imposing foes...perhaps this can translate as the the Freeze Gear's frame is constructed from a hyperalloy that makes the Gear much stronger and more resilient relative to its size?
Plus the addition to the penguin gear at being a gadgeteer (umbrella weapons and all that)?
mmm, going to have to disagree: I like the version of freeze thats more hyper intelligent, one that attacks strategically and from a distance- kinda like a Professor Moriarty-chess playing type villain. always avoiding direct confrontation. there are enough batman villian brawlers without adding that to freeze.

agreed about penguin tho.
