The Fall.

"Our Father, who art in heaven........"

Those words used to comfort me, soothe my aching heart.

I looked down upon the straining earth. Its people, His children living in such hoplessness and pain. For what? For what great purpose came their suffering?

That prayer, the imploration few humans spoke, consoled me, it reminded me that there was someone watching over them.

I, nor any of these humans are skilled to understand the meaning. It's something only God can apprehend.

I used to think that, those words once did satisfy my need to feel hope.

Now, as the freedom skies I once called home burn away in blinding light and my unbearable agony, I doubt anyone is watching over me. Or the bereaved people i fall to.

I was so trusting.

Absolutely amaurotic by my suppossable false hope of something greater than myself.

There is nothing. These questions all have the same answer.

He was never with me. There is nothing.

Enveloping shadows, darkness and pain as i'm torn away from my home, my love. Not light. Not anymore.

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven,"

The first soldier has fallen.
