I remember my dad renting this movie when I was 5ish, and being very confused by my first taste of anime. I now very much appreciate this film, and recently picked up the graphic novel it was based on.

First watched this, in a theater at Pearl Harbor, HI. There were only about 5-10 people there (they ALMOST didn't show the movie). Had NO idea what to expect, so seeing that Ohmu pop out of the forest, just about leapt out of my seat! WOW!!! 😯😯😯
